About me

Hi, I'm Jason! I am an independent musician, currently located in Los Angeles, CA. I just recently graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and a minor in Music Industry.

I play a couple of instruments. The violin and the electric violin are my primaries, piano and keys are my secondaries and I've dabbled in drums. I've been playing the violin for 17 years. I'm classically trained but have been branching far off that path over the last few years into other genres such as hip-hop, rock, house, jazz, electro and funk.

I’m a little under 10 hours into Final Fantasy XIII-2 so far and I’m liking it! Of course, I actually liked XIII (unlike many of you) so this shouldn’t be too big a surprise. XIII-2 started off a little slow in the first few hours but it’s pretty crazy right now. In one section, this song looped for over an hour. It was a bit excessive but I’m definitely diggin’ it. Crazy violin solos - what’s not to like? Man, what I would do for an opportunity to record violin parts and solos for a Final Fantasy game…
