midnightmonochrome asked: You really are beyond amazing in the violin. I really want to learn violin, despite me not having one yet, but when I do, I wished you could teach me! [: Your covers are one of the only artists that I listen to. And certainly my favorite!
loserrlinhh asked: I became a fan after I came across your cover of the FFXIII theme and I fell in love with it. It would be awesome if you could do more final fantasy covers (nobuo uematsu's songs). Keep up the good work. :)

Mom vs. Blizzard
Mom sent me these two picture messages this morning with the following two captions:
“Halfway done :) Halfway to go :(“
“Coming home soon?”
Hang in there, mom!! Sorry I’m not there to do the shoveling this winter - the one winter our town gets 30 inches at a time… I would have done it if I was home! :(
Ouch!
Don’t you hate it when you accidentally drop your phone on your face while you’re lying in bed? Ouch! This wasn’t the first time, either. Ironically, I’m still Tumbling this from my bed with my phone an inch away from my face…
Blizzard
Wow the blizzard back home on the east coast sounds insane… hope everyone stays safe and warm!!!
tyneetom asked: Your Luv Sic Part 2, and Rocketeer pieces are absolutely amazing.
Some guy tried to tell me that what you did on Luv Sic 2 was "nothing special".
That was some bad ignorance right there man, but I did the right thing and I helped point out the error of his ways. I set him straight np

wtfmartinchen asked: Do you think you'll come back to USC to play again? Maybe we could get the program board to work something out. Fight On, by the way :)
Anonymous asked: mmm, im just wondering. whats your ethnicity? =)
thatwesguy asked: Dude, you're amazing live. I saw you play at your graduation at USC earlier this year, and though there were some technical difficulties; it was still super dope! I'm a big fan, keep up the good work mang
tresjani asked: I honestly never met a classical violinist who plays COD. You're freaking awesome! :)
rmaralit asked: i just wanted to say that i think you play the violin beautifully. you probably get that a lot, but it can never be said too many times. i love listening to you play.
Anonymous asked: Could you do any Jimi Hendrix song on the electric violin as a youtube cover request? Please?
heywilfred-deactivated20110829 asked: What's your K/D Ratio in Black Ops?
ayyycindy asked: i love your tribute to nujabes !
stillblooming asked: I was watching your videos, and I seriously want to get back into playing violin. Thank you for the inspiration.
vhanesaaa asked: I literally have a playlist of your songs on iTunes. I love listening to you play. <3

Tron
Just got back from the midnight showing of Tron! Pretty cool movie for sure. Visuals and special effects were amazing. Sound design was awesome. Music was dope. Costume and set designs were badass. Story was meh. Dialogue was meh. But overall I enjoyed it! Definitely watch this one in theaters as opposed to waiting for it to come out on DVD or Blu-ray. Favorite scene was definitely Daft Punk...
Santouka Ramen, Torrance.
Heading out now to go hang with Jason Chen, Paul Dateh, Scott Yoshimoto, Casey Nishizu, and more!
HUGE props to the homies Anthony Lee and Mike Song as well as all the other dope dancers in this new episode of The LXD. So dope. Keep it up, gentlemen!
antoniousness:
By far one of the most awe-inspiring and appreciated experience of my entire dance career. This was so much fun and I feel blessed to have been able to work alongside some of my biggest inspirations. Big ups to the brobots...
Tron World Premier, etc.
So to give y’all some context about my previous post, I was showing my buddy Eric around Hollywood tonight since he had never been there before. Then all of a sudden we found ourselves right outside the Tron world premier at the El Capitan Theater! It ended a few minutes after we arrived so all of the cast, crew and other attendees started walking out. Then Olivia Wilde walked past us in a...
Olivia Wilde just walked past me!
(I accidentally ended up right outside the Tron world premier and she walked right past)
Hilary Hahn!
I finally got to see Hilary Hahn perform live tonight! AND she played Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto, which is one of my favorite pieces of all time. I’ve wanted to watch/hear her play live ever since I first started listening to her CD’s back when I was in like… middle school. She’s freakin’ awesome.
Student rush tickets for the win!
Santa Hats and Dominoes
Went out to the new Atlantic Times Square plaza in Monterey Park with Paul and Liz tonight to eat, drink and hang! The place is still developing but once everything is done, it’ll be a really dope spot. We got some Lee’s Sandwiches and Ten Ren and then went next door to Ralphs to pick up a few things. And to try on Santa hats. Clearly, the Santa hat looks much better on Paul.
